and many things more. Please take a look down and read more about the possibilities when using blogkomm.

Integrated admin-tool

Since 2.0 you may edit and delete comments you don't like. simply login and edit within your blog, just as you are used to. Test it out! I have backups of my comments.

Comments Moderation

screenshot of a posted commentSince 2.2 you can enable comments-moderation. After you received a notification mail, comments will be shown only if you have reviewed them and classify them as no spam (by clicking the approve-link). This should be an effective feature to fight comments-spam or harassment by commenters you don't like.

This Feature is part of the integrated admin-tool.

Captchas

Since 2.3 you should be fine to use the Captcha-Feature to prevent any kind of spam, as long it is bot-generated. Humans who spam your site should be able to enter the code, anyway.

Notification services

blogkomm offers different kinds of notification mails that will be sent if someone posts a comment. The mail includes a direct link to the comment, the commenter's IP, and date and time.

Recent comments sidebar

Give your readers the chance to read the positive feedback on your website at the first glance, take a look at the left.

Comment permalink feature

Every comment is reachable with it's own link, the blog-typical permalink-feature.

different uses of blogkomm

blogKomm works with every weblog software that uses particular IDs for the single post. (Tested with MovableType) For realizing the implementation you just have to be able to to access the postID with a variable you can include into the blogKomm code snippet

That's all, means: you can easily include it into a manually driven weblog. Read the how to page for further information

Or you use blogkomm as an additional guestbook. For this you would maybe add the code somewhere on your site and include the same code as above. the PostID-variable would be for example "1", or your date of birth or whatever. that would be your choice. You dont have to modify, rename or copy the blogkomm-directory for that:

As a result: another posibility of using blogkomm is to use it for multiple weblogs on one server: You only need one installation of blogKomm.
